I hear them
In the deep
Down where the blue is the darkest midnight
They gather to sing
Calling from the depths
Sweetest songs of sorrow
Big
Blue
Brave
Beautiful
I can hear them
Calling to me
Down from the deepest depths
In the black night
I sweep up my heart
Holding their ribbons of song
Weaving with my own
Ocean girl
Wave song
Whales in the deep
I can hear them
Closer now they come
Up to where the blue is burnished
With gold
Singing songs of love
Scarred
Bold
Beautiful
They are coming
To carry me home
