In the gloaming dark
Indigo and Black of this human play
Keep your flicker
Hang on dear ones
The world has turned this way many times
But also bac to the light
From the waves of a thousand ripples like yours
Whatever your call, your art
Do not be duped by shadows and liars
Follow the flames of good
Into the dark black pall of our age
And become the LIght Warrior that you are
Find your kin and march
Fight with the blazing beauty
Torches of love into the midnight
Create the dawn.
This piece found me unearthing my rocks in a new space lovingly erected under my parents forest of trees in a temporary studio space. She is 4ftx 6ft. Inspired by a surfer friend, our inner warriors, the need to find light during the storms. She means my big magic is still here and breathes. Even when the stories come whispering through pines instead of the waves for now.
